The Purebred Rescue and Relocation Society provides an email list
for cat breeders and cat lovers who rescue purebreds, purebred
"copycats", and domestic cats. We rescue purebreds from various
situations, including shelters, to make more room there for feral &
domestic cats. This is a good list if you want to adopt a rescued
purebred cat, or if you are active in rescue. The list catchment
area includes the USA and Canada.

We are an all breed feline rescue. All of our kitties
are in loving foster homes. POG is comprised of a small group of private
individuals, committed to the lives of the kitties we save. All expenses
come out of our own pockets. Adoption fees are set to a limited amount and
are used to offset the cost of necessary medical and caring expenses of the
kitties in our care. The kitties are not in shelters, but live with love in
a foster home.

DFW Purebred Cat Rescue focuses on those cats whose only other option is euthanasia.
When called by pet owners, we encourage them to contact the breeders because it is our firm belief
that they will take responsibility for what they breed, if they only know about it.
We educate the public about responsible pet ownership, and breeders about accountability and their
continuing obligations to the cats that they breed.

Cat Purebred Rescue (CPR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which was
founded in 1994. CPR is a permanent committee of cat fanciers,
affiliated with the "Responsible Cat Fanciers of the Northwest", who seek to
improve the life conditions of pedigreed cats of all breeds recognized
by the various registries. CPR does this through education,
identification, rescue, and placement. The CPR goal is to reduce the
abandonment and surrender of pedigreed cats to shelters.
